  • 1953 Born in Nyborg.

  • 1972-75 Studied ear training, instrumentation, piano, etc., under private tutors.

  • 1973-78 Several of his compositions (piano, chamber, orchestral and vocal music) performed - at the Young Scandinavian Music Festival, on Radio Denmark, etc. Member of the Danish Composers' Society since 1975.

  • 1977 Graduated as a music librarian (Royal Schoool of Library and Information Science, Denmark).

  • 1977-84 Employed by Wilhelm Hansen Music Publishers.

  • 1984-2002 Post at the Danish Music Information Centre (MIC), from 1984 as Assistant Manager.

  • 1984- Member of the executive committee of the Society for the Publication of Danish Music.

  • 1991 Published Rued Langgaard's Compositions. Annotated List of Works. Odense University Press (561 p.). Supported by the Carlsberg Foundation and The National Board for Research in the Humanities.

  • 1992-2002 Expert consultant to Den Store Danske Encyklopædi (Denmark's National Encyclopedia).

  • 1993-2000 Editor of the magazine Musical Denmark.

  • 1993 Published Rued Langgaard. Biografi. Engstrøm & Sødring.

  • 1995-96 Editor and author of Rued Langgaard - a Danish Composer... (www.langgaard.dk).

  • 1998- Member of the editorial board of the Carl Nielsen Edition (Royal Library, Copenhagen).

  • 1998- Board member of the Langgaard Foundation.

  • 2000-2002. Established the Rued Langgaard Edition, a critical edition of Langgaard's works, published by the Society for the Publication of Danish Music. Editor-in-chief of the edition. The edition is supported by the Danish Arts Council a.o.
  • 2003 Engaged by the Danish Arts Agency.
  • 2006-07. Work in progress: a critical edition of Langgaard's opera Antichrist.. This project is supported by the Lundbeck Foundation.
