... and therefore, of course, food to be made. We are told that one ate well in the Langgaard home.

For some reason or other, some time in the 1940´s, Rued Langgaard made a list - perhaps for the benefit of Mrs. Langgaard? - of what we must presume were his favourite dishes, and for some inexplicable reason this piece of paper has been preserved among the collection of his notes kept at the Royal Library:






 


The list may well be in order of priority. At all events, there is a line after item 13, Fisk i Gelé! (Fish in aspic), under which he lists various kinds of gruels and soups - perpahs things he would prefer not to eat!

Perhaps at some later date we shall present the interested reader with the recipes for the things he liked!
